A Phonak Sound Amplification System was presented on the whole school assembly at Pullenvale State School after the whole school sang and signed the School Creed. Sandy Smith and Robyn Porter from Quota Brisbane attended on the day as did Jim Russell from the Hear Room who installed the SFAS in the prep classroom. Parents who attended commented how pleased and thankful they were for the support. The SFAS is the tenth system the Quota Brisbane members had donated to support students to hear the teacher clearly and improve their engagement in learning. The system targets students with hearing loss however all the students in the classroom benefit from being able to hear the teacher clearly. The system is an investment in our young people. The Quota members appreciate the support of the school staff , parents and Advisory Visiting Teachers – Hard of Hearing who have supported us at our fundraisers at Bunnings, our Christmas  Event Fundraiser and Car Park Fundraisers as each system costs thousands of dollars.
