The Quota Club of Brisbane invites Quota members and friends to join them at Geebung RSL on 1 st December. Arrival is 10:30 a.m. for an 11 a.m. start. They are looking forward to welcoming Kate Crowley-Smith founder of Broken to Brilliant to speak at the event. Kate who is the founder of Broken to Brilliant which is an Australian registered not-for-profit charity established by domestic violence survivors to mentor others survivors to reestablish successful lives. Quota Brisbane has a history of over 30 years of having a Christmas Event early in December. Each year the theme lends itself to some fun and raffle draws. Each year the members of Quota Brisbane raise funds to support a special project. This year the theme is ‘butterflies’ which symbolise hope, change and a new beginning. Broken to Brilliant like Quota Brisbane is affiliated with the National Council of Women of Queensland. Funds raised will support Kate and her team at Broken to Brilliant to carry on their work supporting women to rebuild their lives.
