Margaret and Robyn were pleased to present the Soundfield Amplification Phonak System (SFAS) on behalf of the Quota Club of Brisbane to Kenmore South State School assembly. Margaret spoke at the school assembly while Robyn was photographer of the day. Jim Russell from the Hear Room installed the system and spoke at the assembly on the use of the system. The system will enable all students to hear the teacher more clearly but most importantly students who wear hearing devices and those with cochlear implants are able to engage better as their devices can be tuned into the system to enable them to hear the teacher too. It gives them the opportunity to engage and learn. The school staff were grateful for the donation and expressed their appreciation to Margaret and Robyn. The Advisory Visiting Teacher Amanda Langdon made the effort to be at the school when it was presented
. Amanda advocated successfully for the system to be made available via the network of Advisory Visiting Teachers.
